Kiomet — Free Multiplayer Real-Time Strategy Game
Free · No download · Plays in your browser · Works on Chromebooks
Kiomet is a multiplayer real-time strategy game you can play in your web
browser. You start with a King and a few soldiers on a map of towers and roads.
Send your units out to capture more towers, upgrade
to better towers, and defend what you hold. Make alliances or fight your neighbors, but
make sure to keep your King safe. There is nothing to install and no account to create:
press Play and you are in a live game.

How to play Kiomet
- Drag from one of your towers to another to send its units along the
roads. They claim empty towers on the way and fight whatever they meet.
- Click a tower to upgrade it. Each upgrade lists the towers it requires,
and a tower makes nothing while it upgrades.
- Drag a clicked tower to create an automatic supply line.
- Pan with the right mouse button, WASD or the arrow keys, and zoom
with the mouse wheel or Q and E. Press H to find your King. On a touch
screen, drag with one finger, pan with a second, and pinch to zoom.
- Protect your King. When your King is captured, you lose the game.
- Score by holding towers. Most are worth one point; mines, factories,
quarries, towns, refineries and cities are worth more.
- Climb the ranks, from Candidate through Tactician, Strategist,
Representative and Senator to Supreme Leader. Higher ranks spawn with more
soldiers, then helicopters, and unlock every tower.
What are supply lines?
A supply line sends a tower’s units onward without you dragging them each
time. Click a tower that makes units to select it, then drag from it to
another tower. When the path shows moving arrows, the line is set. Whenever
the tower fills up, it sends its units down the line, and units arriving at a
tower with its own supply line carry on along it. Press R to see your supply
lines, and draw the same line again to remove it.
Tips
- Mind your King’s tower. It makes shields but no other units, so keep
your King out of your barracks. Towers at and next to your King make units
and shields twice as fast.
- Don’t waste units. A full tower slowly loses its extra units, so give
it a supply line.
- Shelter your King. Bunkers and headquarters take less damage from shells
and nukes than other towers.
- Make friends. Select another player’s tower and click the handshake
button to offer an alliance. Once they accept, neither of you can attack the
other.
